“We picked up my mom in the early morning to bring her with us to the healthcare facility,” Lillian Larsen recollects., noting that it was her mother, Marion Draper, who flagged Haggerty down. “I was as quiet as a cucumber. And my spouse was serene as perfectly. It was my mother who was the just one who was waving her arms into website traffic. Lillian Larsen, who is now 87, is a Westerleigh resident. Her daughter, who lives in Brooklyn, is director of pursuits at the Norwegian Christian Household in Brooklyn.

Sadly, Allen Larsen, Lillian’s spouse, who was a native Staten Islander, died in 2008.
